Does anybody notice a correllation between ovulation and your level of horniness?! Still getting used to my cycle without BC, not too bad really, but it's like the first week after AF, I feel kinda dead. Then my libido kicks in, and then it kicks into overdrive! I wondering if this has something to do with a hormone surge at ovulation time?

When AF arrived last time, I got really depressed feeling. MW said it was a drop in progesterone. Wondering if the sex drive thing is the opposite effect?

I don't have any clue yet when I'm ovulating, but if this is a sign, it'd be good for me to know.

Increase in libido is a very common ovulation symptom. Makes sense, biologically, ya know... Basically, girl, you go into heat! But I'm not sure what hormonal influence might be the cause. Before ovulation, estrogen is increasing, but progesterone really doesn't go high until after ovulation (it's produced by the corpus luteum, from the follicle the egg is realeased from). So, it might be the estrogen (natural, as opposed to synthetic)... The important thing is, have fun with it!
