I've been browsing through the relationship forum for the past few hours now and thought I would register and say hello I'm a 26 year old woman with ADHD and Aspergers syndrome that wasn't diagnosed until I was 24. Up til that point I was just the 'hyperactive eccentric' amongst my friends Without going into detail, I had an extremely abusive childhood followed by abusive relationships that only exacerbated some of the social difficulties associated with AS/ADHD. So scanning this forum has proved very useful for helping me out with some of the things I wonder around the little subtle nuances of social behaviour

Welcome! I've actually just been learning a lot about Aspergers (my mom is studying it for her master's degree in special ed and she works with several high school aged kids who are dealing with it). That's great that you've been properly diagnosed, like any other medical condition that's a really good first step. I hope you find everything you're looking for here and don't hesitate to start posting!
