So I wake up this morning on Christmas morning just happy waking up to my boyfriend. But then after we got ready to leave to go see his mom he sat me down saying the words you never want to hear from your s/o,"we need to talk". Then he pulled out a box out of his pocket. It looked like a necklace box so I thought aww how sweet. Then I get a text message from him saying when I give you your gift I have a question to ask. Me being confused was like ok? He gave me the box and I open it and I thought that there was nothing in it. He said look at the bottom of the box. So I did and as soon as I saw that it was a ring he was on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. Trying to hold back tears of happiness I answered OF COURSE!!! So now I am engaged and couldn't be any happier. I have had the best Christmas in the whole 23 years of my life.
