Ladies, I would like to know if you usually prefer to date someone older than you or younger than you and why. How big of an age difference do you usually feel comfortable with? Where do you draw the line?

Personally, I love the idea of dating and being with an older guy. I always have. There is something much more attractive to me about an older guy. Usually they are more aware of who they really are, have a direction in life, have a stable job (important!) etc...

Of course that isn't always the case, and sometimes they are complete slackers. As far as age limit, I've been very attracted to guys twice my age, but then we start getting into problems of them wanting a family and me still being young and wanting to enjoy my freedom. I'm still young, and I have so much I want to do before I even consider a family.

Theory

I've always preferred to date people near my age. What's near my age has expanded as I got older. Last time I was available for dating, I was in my mid twenties, and I felt that my ideal relationship would be with someone no more than six years older or three years younger than me. I got into a serious relationship with someone four years older than me. If I were looking now, I might go up to ten years or so either way. Since I'm in my mid thirties, mid twenties probably wouldn't be too young and mid forties certainly wouldn't be too old.

I always prefered dating someone older. Max would be 15 years. Ideal would be 10 years. My df is my age. Its his worst quality. lol. He is mature for his age...but not mature enough. Cant help who you fall in love with though. Ive never seriously considered anyone younger.
