Brandy,
I completely understand sweetie!! I also only wear a bandana type hat. I have a wig, but it does itch like crazy. Nobody forgets me now, I'm very memorable and I notice that people talk to me more then when I was a normal person and had hair. I'm staying positive and hoping that my hair will grow back. It already did in 2 places, but then after having my baby it fell out again. I still have some hope left, but I do want to be normal again sooo much, I hate standing out, mind you I love making a statement and that appearance is not important. I heard about the hair implants, but I heard that it can damage the hair follicule, I don't even want to get the steroid injections. I just want it to grow back on it's own and still hoping it will. I wish I could go over there and hug you, I'm glad you also have a great fiance to take care of you, I am so lucky there too!

GOOD NEWS ALERT!!!
Woohoo, I think my hair is growing back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My head has been feeling funny on a few areas and I know it was the same feeling as when my hair grew back awhile ago in 2 spots, but then fell out again. I remember that feeling and we couldn't see anything coming through yet. And now my entire head feels this way now, I am sooo beyond happy!!!!!!!!!!

Well thought I'd bump this up again for an update. I am currently going on about 7 months pregnant yet again...I know, haha!! And well my hair has been growing back around the back (where it first came out about 3 years ago).

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism with this pregnancy just a few months ago so I'm on a suppliment medication to boost it's function and I am hoping that is the reason my hair is growing back.

Mind you I think it's just the pregnancy hormone, but the good news is....are you all ready...???

It's been growing EVERYWHERE!!!! Not a whole lot but enough to say, hummm...this is certainly different then my last pregnancy, mind you I'm having a boy this time and my hormones may be differently.

The true test will be AFTER the birth of my son, hopefully I'll be back for some wonderful news that it has stayed and not fallen out again smile

Update:

I've had my second baby and now my nails are getting brittle and ugly again, my hair has fallen out again, so I have researched it and I am going to get tested for a hormonal imbalance. I will let you all know what the results are once I get them. I really want answers, but honestly I haven't really had the time or the drive to have it figured out. Now this hairloss is really starting to bother me, plus I don't have the sex drive, I'm tired all the time, I'm also Hypothyroid which can be reasons for hormonal imbalance too. My appointment is on Monday I soooo hope I get answers!!!

Gutter, I'll bet they can fix it with hormones. Or tequila. I always forget which one is more effective. :-)

Everything was normal (I don't know what tests I had done though).... :S I guess it's just stress related, but I am just tired of dealing with this, I want it back!!!!! I've pretty much tried to take all my stresses of life away, but I guess having 2 young children doesn't help, lol!
